What this tool does, in plain words

What is atspreview.com?

atspreview.com is a free ATS résumé checker. Paste a job posting and it shows which of the posting's keywords your résumé covers — then, for a one-time $29 (valid for one year), it shows the exact text an ATS parser extracts from your file, in reading order, so you can see what a machine actually receives.

Why is it private?

Your résumé never leaves your device. Parsing and analysis run entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server. Only a license key is sent for paid activation.

That is a design decision, not a promise buried in a policy: the tool has no server to send your file to.

What's free, what's $29?

Keyword matching against any job posting is free and unlimited — no account, no sign-up. The full ATS read-through, the fix list, and version and format comparisons are a single $29 unlock, valid for one year. No subscription.

Frequently asked questions

Is my résumé uploaded to a server?

No. Parsing and analysis run entirely in your browser — the file never leaves your device. Only a license key is sent for paid activation.

What can I do for free?

Unlimited keyword matching against any job posting. The full ATS read-through, fix list, and comparisons are a one-time $29 unlock, valid for one year — no subscription, no account.

Which file formats are supported?

.docx and text-based PDF files up to 10MB. Scanned image-only PDFs have no text layer for any parser to read — the tool flags them.

How are the results determined?

Deterministic rules, not AI guessing: the same file always gives the same result. The keyword score is coverage — how much of the posting's wording your résumé shares — not a pass prediction.

Does the tool tell me if I will pass an ATS?

No tool can promise that. atspreview.com shows verifiable facts — what a parser extracts and which keywords overlap — so you can fix what parsers actually get wrong.
